Club Orient is located about thirty minutes from the airport on the Island of St. Martin and the taxi fare should be about $25.00 per couple from the airport to the Resort. Be sure you have a clear understanding with the taxi driver as to the cost.

Club Orient is totally clothing optional anywhere in the resort and on the beach in front of the resort. At Club Orient you may dine on your porch, play tennis, stroll the beach in front of the resort or explore the grounds with out dressing. Club Orient is the only totally clothing optional resort in the Caribbean. St. Martin is well known for their tourism facilities and their many attractions along with casino gambling. The Island offers a very comfortable warm year round climate. You will find plenty of sun, the caress of a breeze, the stimulating freshness of the peaceful deep blue sea water.

Club Orient has been under a complete rebuilding stage. They are now working to finish the last 15 beach chalets. Studios, mini-suites, garden chalets and beach chalets each offer in-room safes, lounge chairs, towels, daily maid service, and cooking facilities. Each unit has an outside shower and they are very popular with the guest.

The bay, protected by the only barrier reef in the eastern Caribbean is free from dangerous currents and is perfect for snorkeling, swimming and any kind of water sport. You will find one of the finest white sand beaches along with crystal clear waters in the world right at your doorstep. There are two tennis courts on the grounds along with the general store. A self service laundry, rental cars by the day, a boutique department offers casual beach wear, souvenirs, and presents to take home. The Papagayo restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with live entertainment once or twice a week. Wednesday night is "Wine and Cheese Party" offered by the management. Bayside the affiliated equestrian center, offers riding lessons, beach rides, and horse rentals. This resort has many repeat clientele and is sold out on many dates.

You should book as far in advance as possible to assure the accommodations that you desire. Should you decide to rent a car upon your arrival for your entire stay, we strongly suggest that this be done at time of making your resort reservations. They do drive on the right hand side of the road and we always rent a car for our stay as the resort is easy to locate. This gives us a way to explore the Island along with doing our shopping at the Super Markets. There are many restaurants nearby that you may enjoy dining out at night. Of course, then you have your own transportation to the casino. Be careful this could be the most costly part of your trip. <g>
